Romeo? Romeo? Wherefore art thou, romeo?

"O, wilt thou leave me so unsatisfied?"

JULIET
131 But to be frank, and give it thee again.
132 And yet I wish but for the thing I have.
133 My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
134 My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
135 The more I have, for both are infinite.
Summary

[Nurse calls within.]

136 I hear some noise within; dear love, adieu!
137 Anon, good nurse! Sweet Montague, be true.
138 Stay but a little, I will come again.

[Exit, above.]

ROMEO
139 O blessed, blessed night! I am afeard.
140 Being in night, all this is but a dream,
141 Too flattering-sweet to be substantial."

Ok, I know that's quite a bit to take in, but I just want to focus on a few key things in this little tidbit. Eugh. Tidbit. I hate that word. Every day in Mrs. Verbeke's class we have Tidbits we have to write down. and we have to keep track for the week. Stuff about extinction and volcanoes and pollution. All the depressing things. The only thing I've ever actually learned in that class is that not all firetrucks are red, and that a truck that is red is not always a firetruck.

Anywho, I'm drifting away from my original subject. A while ago Jess and I schemed to be really awkward in English class, with Juliet and Romeo as our device. I made sure to read every line with as much emotion as possible. for example, the very first line up there, "O, wilt thou leave me- yadda yadda yadda". I read that as "Oh.... Wilt thou.. leave me so unsatisfied? -sniffle-"

Get it? And we went back and forth like that for the whole period. I thought it was pretty funny. And Mrs. Mean-ix said that I should be in acting. Big surprise there. I'm just too unmotivated for that sort of thing. I just like to mess around with my talent, rather then put it to good use.  Plus, Mrs. Welsh just makes me feel unsettled. She's more like a grandmother than a teacher. No hard feelings intended on her part.

I just cut my fingernails a few minutes ago. It's really annoying to have to try and text after you cut your fingernails. It's like learning how to walk. It takes a lot of effort to do something that should be effortless. I don't get it. I never realize how often I use my fingernails for things until they are missing. The same goes for other things. "I never used to need that leg before.."

Well. That's all I have to say, about that. Forrest Gump quote. Anyway, that's all. I love you. thanks for reading.
