Really? Calculus?

Okay, So today, I had to go to my high school to take a math placement test. I stayed up until about five seventeen in the morning, and i had to wake up at about seven, which was not very fun. I guess it was my own fault though. But all in all it was not a very smart decision. I got all dressed and spiffy and i ate a cookie for breakfast because it was high in sugar, which i needed more than anything else.

I finally got to the high school after a long while of sitting in oh-so-convenient traffic. I had been hoping since yesterday to try and make a friend while I was at the testing, but my dream was shattered when i realized the inconvenient truth of what the testing actually was. I could hear how quiet it was in the room from about fifty feet away, and when i stepped inside about ten people just shot looks at me.

I waited in the short line to get my test and i proceeded to the last of the open seats in the back of the room. I got a good bit into to the test when i noticed a little label when i went back to check a problem. "TEST FORM A. FOR THOSE THAT HAVE NOT YET COMPLETED THE ALGEBRA I COURSE"

So I got up and gave the lady my test and requested a new one, feeling a little dumb. She gave me a new test that was about as thick as a tree and i wished that i had just dealt with another year of algebra I, but I figured I would do alright. I opened it and the problems ranged from advanced algebra stuff to calculus stuff! Which i had learned a few years ago with my dad, but i was far more than rusty on that subject.

I eventually completed my test, and I think I did a pretty good job. It was not very fun, but i did it, and I was very proud afterward. I had a surprise trip to the orthodontist today, and they put this new fat wire on my bottom teeth, and it goes back further now, and they added two teeth to the bridge on the top teeth.

Tina says she may take me to IKEA sometime this week, either tomorrow or Friday, which sounds fun to me, because it is to shop for furniture and pictures for my room. That sounds very nice to me. Mikaella said in her blog that I have the ability to say embarrassing things and I want her to know I will soon be incorporating them into my blog. I love you miss loveyschnookumscuddlybear! =] <3

  1. Your dad taught you Calculus? Wow. Mebes when I get to that in like 12th grade you can help me with it.

I'm glad the testing wasn't too bad, but sorry you didn't find any friends. But you can do that later and be spectacular at it, etc etc.

IKEA is fun and I hope you have a fabulous time there. I saw some low beds there that I really liked. Try one out. Just, yeah, try everything out even if people look at you funny. =]

I said you probably would- I didn't say you should, or have to.
